The Feebleness of Human Love
When wrinkles finally take their places
When the beauties of the faces disappear
When the curves and shapes enter oblivion
Who will stay put?
What is love worth anyway?
Wow! The wretchedness of human love
Yet love is beautiful in itself
Like the beauty of a cloudy morning
Soon turn to a hot sunny day
Our love has waxed hot
Burning every beautiful experience, we ever had
We were too sure this was going to work.
But it ended before it ever started.
This love was beautiful
Yet it was wicked because it was human
Innocence was what it could be called.
We were too young, everyone noted
But no one could deny the fire in their eyes
The sacrifice we were willing to pay
Love is beautiful even among the young.
Yet, hurt shows no mercy
Even for the young
So far it’s human, this love will hurt
Sooner or later, this love will hurt
Because it is human, it will likely fail.
So, the day you fail in love, prepare for the hurts
When you give for love, give because you in love
But when you hurt, do so because you are human
This love is human and it will likely fail.
